BMW F10 M5 Eventuri Intake System
The Eventuri F10 M5 intake system has been developed through extensive dyno testing, maximum speed testing and flow optimization. We have created a complete system, from the front air ducts to the filter housings and the intake pipes to the turbochargers. The resulting system is extremely efficient and reduces drag for the turbochargers by creating a smooth airflow to the turbochargers.
The Eventuri Difference
The F10 M5 Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housing that provides aerodynamically efficient airflow from the filter to the MAF tube. It is not just a filter with a heat resistant shield, but a unique design that utilizes the Venturi effect. This creates improved airflow with lower drag.
The Eventuri F10 M5 Intake System Consists of:
- 2 Carbon Fiber Venturi Housings
- 2 High flow double cone air filters
- 2 Aluminum inlets for smooth airflow
- Left carbon fiber tube with integrated MAF sensor mount
- Right carbon fiber tube with integrated MAF sensor mount
- 2 Carbon fiber front air ducts
- 2 Laser cut aluminum shields with integrated airflow deflectors
- High quality silicone couplings with BMW specific hose clamps
Carbon Fiber Intake Housings
The filter housings consist of the high flow filters, aluminum intakes and the carbon fiber pods. The carbon fiber pods encase the reverse mounted filters and smoothly direct the airflow to the intake tubes. This smooth reduction in the cross-section of the tube activates the Venturi effect, which accelerates the airflow while maintaining laminar flow. This can be seen as a large velocity tube, which ensures a more efficient airflow to the turbochargers.
Carbon Fiber Intake Pipes
Our intake tubes are constructed from 100% prepreg carbon fiber. Each tube has an integrated MAF sensor mount that is CNC machined from aluminum. The tubes smoothly connect the filter housings to the turbine inlets and eliminate the standard wavy flex tubes that disrupt airflow. The use of carbon fiber allows the tubes to maintain a round shape, even at the MAF mounting points, which ensures the best airflow characteristics.
Carbon Fiber Air Ducts
The front air ducts are essential for directing cold air to the filters. These ducts are designed for maximum efficiency and can smoothly guide the air through the duct openings. Unlike many aftermarket air ducts, the Eventuri ducts are designed to extend from the existing duct openings to the grille, capturing as much air as possible and efficiently directing it to the filters.
Screens and Airflow Deflectors
The filter housings are built into the airflow deflectors, which capture the cold air from the front air ducts while expelling the warm air around the filter openings. The deflectors ensure that the airflow is properly guided, which reduces the air intake temperature and optimizes the system performance.
